Serving the Heart of Lake Tansi with Open Arms

Tansi Community Church is a place where faith feels like family.

We serve the heart of Lake Tansi with open arms, rooted in Scripture, led by the Spirit, and centered on Jesus Christ.

We are a small, multi-denominational church located in the heart of Lake Tansi in Crossville, Tennessee. Our mission is to reflect Christ’s love through heartfelt worship, faithful teaching, and a genuine commitment to community.

Whether you’re new to the area, seeking a place to grow in your faith, or just looking for connection — we’re glad you’re here. Join us for Sunday worship at 10:00 AM or drop by one of our monthly events, like our Pancake Breakfast (first Saturdays, March through December) and our beloved Spaghetti Dinners. Tansi Community Church is more than a building — we’re a church family, walking in faith together.

Worship Together

We gather each Sunday to praise, pray, and grow in the presence of Christ.
Sunday School: 9:00 AM | Worship: 10:00 AM

Rooted in Scripture

The Bible is our foundation — inspired, infallible, and alive through the Holy Spirit.

Walking Together in Faith

No one walks alone here. We grow, learn, and serve side by side in Christ.

Faith in Action

Jesus saves us to serve — not sit. We live out our faith through love, outreach, and service.

Pastor William Lloyd

Serving Tansi Community Church with Faith and Heart

Pastor Bill Lloyd has been preaching the Gospel since 1974, serving churches with faith, warmth, and a heart for lifelong learning.

With over 50 years in ministry and more than three decades as a teacher and school administrator, Pastor Bill brings both spiritual depth and real-world wisdom to every message. His sermons are thoughtful, grounded, and rooted in a deep belief that God still speaks — especially when we’re listening. Bill believes that preaching should never just tell you what to think, but instead inspire you to think deeply and walk closely with Christ. He and his wife Betty have shared 30 wonderful years together, and now live in Crossville with their four dogs. Whether he’s behind the pulpit, buried in a good book, or working with his hands, Bill serves with humility, good humor, and an open heart.

“I won’t tell you what to think — but I’ll always ask you to think. I believe God speaks loudest when we’re truly listening.”
